Learn how to transition to a plant-based diet
There is a lot of buzz in the media about eating whole food plant-based, and it sounds like a good idea for both body and planet, but where to begin in today’s busy world? If you are thinking about making changes, but not sure where or how to begin, then you are in the right place.
This type of dietary transition can sound radical, even overwhelming; I know because I’ve been there.
I get excited about whole food. As a nurse with 27 years experience in emergency and critical care, I have seen the ravages of the standard American diet first hand. Incorrect diet and poor lifestyle are making people sick. Complete healthcare includes being properly educated about the correlation between diet choices and disease.
I pursued my plant based nutrition certification to complement my years of medical experience. I am passionate about empowering clients to make educated dietary choices that improve their health.
The scientific research highlighted in the landmark book The China Study by T. Colin Campbell, MD shows that a plant-based diet can reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, and other major illnesses. Moreover, eating whole foods plant-based can boost energy and reduce inflammation.
The path toward transitioning to a plant-based diet begins by taking that first step. I have the tips, tricks, techniques, and resources to support you every step of the way.
Deep breath-we got this.
