This comes as no surprise: your diet is one of the single most important factors in creating your health. Why? Because we can’t live a full, healthy, productive life without quality nutrition. True, you can eat just to survive. Processed, boxed, and canned foods can give you caloric content just like fresh fruit and vegetables. But there is something missing from these foods. In Ayurveda and yoga it is called prana, in Chinese Medicine it is called qi or chi – simply translated, it is life force.
Believe it or not it is fairly simple to design a diet that is rich in prana. Prana feeds your body a little differently. Instead of calories in and calories out, think about your cells. Each one vibrates at its own frequency. Feed your body foods that still have some existing vibration, or living cells, and you will be nourished at a different, more profound level. Nourished, not just full. Thriving, not just surviving.
In our upcoming 3-week online course – Spring Nutrition Reset – you will have the opportunity to design a diet rich in prana. You will learn how to nourish your cells, detoxify the waste which may be preventing absorption, and make simple, sustainable changes that you can carry forward well beyond Spring. Registration will be open soon.
In the meantime: try this Living Soup Recipe! It’s prana-rich, delicious, easy to make and take on the fly, and highly satisfying. Supplement with a good quality fresh baked bread or a roasted sweet potato if you prefer to feel more full. Enjoy!
